WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

Know that the penalty of sin is death.  (Romans 6:23)
23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, 26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.
Romans 3:23-26 New Living Translation (NLT)

You will be saved
Believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead on the 3rd day and Confess with your mouth Jesus is our Lord and Saviour
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
Romans 10:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT)

Declaration
Be Baptized in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit – Baptism is a public declaration of your new life in Jesus Christ.
Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
Romans 6:3-4 New Living Translation (NLT)

Living
Welcome to the Body of Christ.   Become a member.  Joining with a local Bible based church gives a sense of community and belonging. As a believer it is important that you become a disciple.  The word disciple  comes from the Greek word (mathe’te’s) which means pupil or learner.  The disciples who followed Jesus spent time with Him, listening to His teachings, observing His ways and character, they were pupils or learners.  It is important for believers to spend time reading and hearing God’s word. Importantly, spending time in prayer leads to a more intimate relationship with God our Father.  We are commissioned to go out and make disciples.
1Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20 New International Version (NIV)
