From The Pastor’s Pen

Greetings, Greetings, Greetings,
It is with much excitement that I greet you as we embark upon a new year. As each of you are aware, 2018 proved to be a year that was filled with many different challenges. Some of them we embraced and others we wished we didn’t have to deal with. Even though we had these challenges, we are still standing. Did you hear what I said? “We are still standing!” Yes, that is right! Our challenges didn’t destroy us. We have been afforded another opportunity to prepare for the next round of challenges. The true test is not how many challenges we face, but how do we fair after the challenge. The question that I must ask you is what did you learn from your 2018 challenges? What did your challenges teach you about who you are and what you can do? What did they teach you about the source of your strength? I hope that they have taught us the true meaning behind “Romans 8:37 (KJV) 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.”   We have got to understand that in this life, there are going to be challenges; but no matter what the challenge is, we are already victorious. Yes, V I C T O R I O U S, we are victorious!!!! I hope that you will join me as we go into 2019 with our minds made up that we are ready for whatever this year may hold for us. As we move forward, let us do so with a plan to accomplish all that God has for us. If we fail to plan, then we are planning to fail. Let it not be said that we were not ready or that we had not planned for the challenges and opportunities that God has in store for us in 2019.   As we move forward, let us do so with a determination that this will be our greatest year yet.
